This ambitious project aims to connect a staggering 412MW of power generation capacity to the ElectraNet’s Robertstown substation, positioning it as one of the largest wind farms in the country. Buttrose Earthmovers is at the forefront of constructing 13 turbine foundations and hardstands, a testament to our expertise and commitment to excellence in the renewable energy sector.

SCOPE OF WORKS

  • Construction of 13 turbine foundations and hardstands, bulk cut-fill earthworks exceeding 400,000m3
  • Excavated 350,000 cubic meters, including blasting where necessary.
  • All drilling and blasting completed by our own blasting team
  • Placed, conditioned, and compacted 300,000 cubic meters of fill.
  • Produced and installed 60,000 cubic meters of site-won basecourse.
  • Constructed 20 kilometres of longitudinal V Drains, 15% rock-lined with site-won and produced Rip Rap.
  • Completed drainage work totaling $2.2 million, ranging from 2.4m x 2.4m RCBC to 450mm RCP.
  • Laid pavement improvement products over 20,000 square meters.
