The Oceane Estate contracts have presented significant challenges, particularly around managing silt run-off into the Hindmarsh River system. Due to large exposed areas, vegetation restrictions, delayed approvals, and limited capacity for temporary silt retention basins, controlling run-off has been extremely complex.

Supervisor Rhys Wooding, Project Manager Simon Forest and the crew have shown strong resilience throughout the works, and both the EPA and Council have acknowledged the professional way the situation has been managed.

Stage 1B-1 is now complete, with Stages 1B-2 and 1B-3 expected to finish in early May next year.
