Riverlea Boulevard B4&5
The Riverlea Boulevard project is moving ahead well. Major procurement, preparation, and on-site activities are underway to support the next stages of construction. The crew has made strong progress with the installation of stormwater pipes, allowing work to advance efficiently across multiple areas of the site.
Backfilling and compaction were carried out alongside pipe installation to maintain productivity and avoid delays. Pit installation also continued, with teams confirming bedding and alignment before placing each pit. After backfilling, all work areas were cleaned and organised.
Installation of the recycled water pipes along Claxton Avenue and the east side of Stage 4 has progressed well, with approximately 635 metres now completed. An SA Water representative has inspected this section as part of the hold point requirements. The potable water pipe installation on Claxton Avenue has also been completed.
All required project management plans and ITPs have been submitted for review ahead of the MSCL kick-off meetings.
