These works were undertaken in a highly sensitive marine coastal environment south of Adelaide.

SCOPE OF WORKS

• Excavate existing river bed floor to 1.2m below low tide line for the installation of a 2-layer rock armour bank
• 9000 tonnes of select quarry fill was used to construct batter to design prior to rock armour installation.
• 7000 tonnes of rock armour were hauled to site using our side tippers whilst backloading in suitable fill and and organic waste.
• GPS equipped excavator was used for accurate excavation and level verification as it was too unsafe to conduct and as built at the tow of batter in soft ground.
• Project was complete on time and on budget
